Regulatory requirements have propelled compliance training to the forefront of company priorities. Data Handling and Breach Response Training is intended to educate managers and staff concerning regulatory issues, legal obligations, and company policy. Participation helps mitigate punitive damages arising from future incidents and subsequent claims. As Robert Mueller, Former Director of the FBI stated, “There are only two types of companies: those that have been hacked, and those that will be. Even that is merging into one category: those that have been hacked and will be again.”
The goals of Incident Response Services are: (1) provide an effective and compliant response to a data breach and (2) help your company reduce its vulnerability to such incidents through awareness and training. We realize the magnitude and complexity of these issues are, at first glance, daunting for smaller companies without a staff of highly experienced IT and security personnel. Nevertheless, your decision to embrace these objectives is highly strategic. So, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!
Creating a proactive company culture to guard against intrusions and loss of sensitive information must be addressed from a knowledge perspective – it is the only way to insure adherence to your company’s written policies and procedures. We currently provide 4 courses in your curriculum, each segmented into discreet modules. Your primary text for each subject is a guideline, accessed from the Training Curriculum Reading menu. Guidelines may be read online or downloaded and printed.
Go to Training Course Downloads to access summaries of each guideline module. The “Cliff Notes” are available in a printable PowerPoint/PDF format and also in an audio/ video format which facilitates relaxed listening and/or viewing on any web enabled device. Before you matriculate, we’ll help assess your retention level. Simply click the blue Assessment and Test button corresponding to each module. We’ll grade your results instantly and provide a test score and key with the correct and incorrect answers. You are also given the option of emailing the test results to yourself and/or a company manager.
